Information You Submit
A name, location, or other term entered in a search box is sent directly to the third-party provider that operates the tool. This site does not store or log those search terms on its own systems. The provider's policy governs its handling of a submitted query.
If you send an email or contact message, we retain the information needed to read and answer it. Contact messages are not shared outside the organization unless disclosure is required by law.

Links may lead to the Benewah County Sheriff, Idaho Department of Correction, court portals, federal locators, release-record sources, or outside search services. Once a visitor leaves, the destination's privacy policy and security practices apply.
Advertising partners may use their own technology to measure activity across websites and select targeted ads. That processing takes place through their systems, not as a Benewah County government function. Idaho public-record requests are separately governed by Idaho Code Title 74, Chapter 1 and the policy of the office receiving the request.

These requests concern data controlled by this private site. Requests for a sheriff, court, IDOC, VINE, search partner, or advertising provider must go to that organization.

This privacy notice may be revised as practices or legal requirements change. A new version takes effect when posted here with its updated effective date.
